DHIS2 Android SDK Roadmap
The new app is based on a new SDK, which can be used to develop new Android Apps for specific use cases. The SDK streamlines data & metadata synchronization, fast tracking the development of new apps. The new SDK requires DHIS 2.29 or greater. You can follow the development in Jira by going to the Android SDK dashboard. You will need to register as a Jira user.
The first oficial (1.0) version of the SDK is planned for release on early December 2018. Major releases occur every four months, and include the necessary adjustments to ensure compatibility with DHIS2 releases. At the minimum, we ensure ‘current’ and previous 2 versions compatibility.
